Even though it’s already October, it is still blazing hot in Southern California every other weekend. Where do all the locals flock to? Our plentiful beaches of course! One of our favorites is definitely Huntington Beach, also lovingly known as Surf City USA and home of the Vans US Open of Surfing. What is there to do other than surf and tan though? There are tons of restaurants, bars, and shops all around to check out. Here are some of the awesome things you can do while in Huntington Beach: Surf City Nights: recurring every Tuesday from 5PM to 9PM with live music, food stands, and even a certified farmer’s market Vans Off The Wall Skate Park: free and open to the public daily, practice your skating skills (or watch others practice) in this cool concrete jungle Surfer’s Hall of Fame: honoring the legends of surfing with their hand prints, footprints, and signatures in the sidewalk in front of Huntington Surf & Sport Sea Legs Wine Bar: with 2,000 different wines and 10 craft beers on tap, this wine bar is where to go for a great Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch Fuzion: a fun game concourse perfect for the whole family to enjoy arcade games, bowling, lazer tag, and pool The Huntington Beach Pier: the iconic pier where you can fish, fly kites, eat a delicious meal, and get a beautiful ocean view all in the same place Go for the beach, stay for the food and activities - people watch even if you like. Whatever you decide to do, Huntington Beach is a great place for a day trip or a stay-cation for all Southern Californians.
